Selective/Non-Selective Positioning Tool
Selective & Non-Selective Positioning Tool
The ST Shifting tool is designed to selectively locate and shift most sliding side door sleeves. This is accomplished by the “B” Shifting Tool keys engaging the SSD inner sleeve, and depending on the direction the tool is run, up or down, the sleeve is shifted.
The ST Shifting tool’s 90 degree shoulder facing downward will open an XO and XD sleeve and close an XA sleeve.
The ST Shifting tool’s 90 degree shoulder facing upward will close an XO and XD sleeve while opening the XA Sleeve.
Running the “Positive” key requires the operator to jar and shear the shear pin to release the tool from the sliding sleeve.
The selective Shifting Tool is designed to selectively locate and shift sliding side doors only to the down position.
The tool is made selective by the lower locating section which functions in the same manner as the locating section of the “TICX” Running Tool.
The Selective Shifting Tool opens the “SXO” and “SXD” sliding sleeves.
